He is qualified with the British Institute of Professional Photography and the Master Photographers Association as an Associate, which means that you have the assurance that he is a professional, qualified photographer. He has won numerous awards in BIPP and MPA competitions including:
ˇ  Eight gold, four silver and five bronze awards in the annual BIPP International Print Awards.
ˇ  1999, 2000, 2002 and 2003 Wedding Portfolio Photographer of the Year for BIPP Central Region, which covers an area stretching from North London to Leicestershire, East Anglia to Oxfordshire. This competition is based upon a panel of five images taken from a single wedding photographed during the year. In 2003 he also went on to be placed third in the national final, the highest placing he has ever achieved in the competition.
 
ˇ  2000/2001, 2002/2003 and 2003/2004 Wedding Photographer of the Year for BIPP Central Region. This accolade is awarded to the single most stunning wedding image of the year.
ˇ  2003 BIPP London & Home Counties wedding & illustrative photographer of the year.
ˇ  MPA Central Region Mother & Baby Photographer of the year and runner-up in the National final.
 
He is a member of the highly regarded Kodak Gold Circle. It has been said that membership of this exclusive club puts a photographer in the top 4% in the country. Membership of the Gold Circle is only awarded to a photographer who produces an image of outstanding skill and beauty, judged by a panel of eminent photographers to be worthy of inclusion. Phil has won no less than four Gold Awards, as well as receiving commendations for 8 other images that he has entered in the competition.
 
Phil was also awarded a second and third place in the 2001 Kodak Wedding and Portrait awards and has over forty other national and regional awards to his credit.
 
He is frequently asked to lecture for other photographers on the style and presentation of his wedding and portrait images.
